Arizona pitcher Miguel Batista did his part in helping his team beat the Houston Astros, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Picking up the save was 33-year old right-handed pitcher Ad Gumbert. The Diamondbacks are now 80-68.

Willie Greene came through with a big-time hit for Arizona. The shortstop smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We did enough to win," said Greene.
