The Boston Red Sox pounded the Toronto Blue Jays, 14-2, at Fenway Park II. Boston third baseman Dick Allen had a game-changing performance. He was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The first-place Red Sox now sit at 88-68.
