Dodgers Suffer 5-1 Home Loss
|
The Milwaukee Brewers dealt the Los Angeles Dodgers a 5-1 loss at Dodger Stadium. Rey Sanchez was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The third-place Brewers now have a win-loss record of 25-28.
With Milwaukee leading 2-1 in the top of the sixth, Sanchez hit a run-scoring single off Los Angeles hurler Tom Sullivan. It was the 42nd hit of the season for Sanchez and put his team ahead, 3-1.
"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Sanchez.
