Benefiting from Kata Ishibashi's productive game, the Bikini Krill downed the Portland Lumberjacks, 15-7. Ishibashi went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Krill. The win was credited to Stephen Grant in relief. His record improves to 1-2. John Simons took the loss. Fred Taylor earned the save for Bikini, his 2nd of the year.

Craig Ablett had an important at-bat with two out in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a grand slam home run. His 16th home run of the season put Bikini on top, 15-7.

Ablett told the Bikini Times: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."

The Krill sit in 6th place in the Frick League Pacific Division with a record of 75-81.
