The 8-3 San Fernando win over Vancouver was due largely to Sonny Bigalow. The Bears center fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Picking up the save was Dhrtatman Seshadri, his 1st. The second-place Bears now have a win-loss record of 89-67.

With San Fernando leading 4-3 in the top of the eighth, Bigalow hit a run-scoring single off Vancouver hurler Benno Steeneveld. It was the 91st hit of the season for Bigalow and put his team ahead, 5-3.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Bigalow.
