The Bikini Krill got a superb performance from pitcher Samuel Nebraska, but the Portland Lumberjacks still won the game, 3-2. Nebraska threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The last-place Lumberjacks sport a record of 62-96.

Portland got the win thanks to a clutch hit from Dusty Crouch. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lumberjacks ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it had a major impact on the outcome.

"This was a tough loss," said Bikini manager Richard Lawson. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
