Starting pitcher Brody Picot pitched well enough to help the Yellow Springs Nine beat the Bikini Krill, 7-4. Dave Lee nailed down his 4th save. Yellow Springs has 3 straight wins, Bikini 3 straight losses.

Burhan Tahir had a big 2-run double for the Nine in the bottom of the second inning. With Yellow Springs leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from Félix Vidaca, who won the Joe Gillstrom Newcomer of the Year in 2048, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 12th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Nine ahead, 4-0.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Tahir.
