Atlantic City Takes 1-0 Series Lead with Walk-off Win
The Atlantic City Gamblers powered past the visiting Montreal Blazers, 8-6, in the opener of the Geoghegan Round at The Ballpark at Bally's. Atlantic City first baseman Tyler Ober hit 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times, to lead the charge. The Gamblers now lead the series 1-0.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Ober hit a sinker from Augusto Ayala for a 2-run home run. The Gamblers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Blazers manager Paul Scholes did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the Monty Brewster Memorial Series."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Ballpark at Bally's in Atlantic City.
