Bad News for Flyers, Bishop Injured Wednesday, August 14th , 2058 Charlotte Flyers shortstop Andy Bishop left yesterday's game against the Atlantic City Gamblers after suffering a fractured wrist being hit by a pitch. Bishop was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Bishop is expected to miss 5 weeks. In 2058 Bishop has hit at a .280 clip with 99 hits, 9 home runs, 42 RBIs and has scored 58 times. |
