Masûkî and Matsunaga Traded Monday, August 19th , 2058 Josh Davidoff, general manager of the Des Moines Kernels, has signed off on a trade for Charlotte's 23-year old minor league LHP Sharif Qutuz, 20-year old minor league C Masakado Matsunaga, and 17-year old minor league 1B Arturo Sandoval. To complete the deal, the Kernels will send 31-year old SS Elvan Masûkî to the Flyers. Des Moines will retain a portion of Masûkî's remaining contract. On the year Masûkî has hit .241 with 4 home runs, 43 RBIs and scored 38 runs. |
