Gamblers Buried - Out of Playoffs Monday, September 2nd , 2058 It has been a woeful season for the Atlantic City Gamblers and now they have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. "You always need some things to break your way to get into the playoffs," said manager Mike MartÃnez. "And nothing broke our way this year." Atlantic City last appeared in the postseason in 2053. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 44 times in their 64-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Gamblers have missed the playoffs 5 times. Atlantic City last won the Monty Brewster Memorial Series in 2022. |
