Amphibian Johnson Hurt, Out of Action Thursday, September 5th , 2058 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Sluggers when after today's game against the Bluebirds, the club found out they would be without the services of Amphibian Johnson for at least 2-3 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Johnson was injured earlier today being hit by a pitch and suffered a concussion. Johnson is batting .328 this year with 6 home runs, 44 RBIs and 78 runs scored. He has 183 hits in 558 at-bats. |
