At the age of 20, José Medrano of the Cheyenne Bulls could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2061 was good enough to win the first baseman the Horizon League Frank Moore Batter Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .415 batting average this year, as well as a .437 on-base percentage. He played 67 games and racked up 114 hits, 51 doubles, 4 triples, 12 home runs, 39 RBIs and 62 runs scored.
