Orioles Squelch Diamondbacks Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Baltimore Orioles got a stellar performance from pitcher Kris Stone, who handcuffed the Arizona offense en route to a win, 6-0, at Chase Field. With the win, the Orioles sit at 89-70.
Baltimore relied on the hitting of Donnie Donahue to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Orioles on top, 2-0. For the game, Donahue had 2 home runs and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"It's still just a game," said Donahue, "whether you win or lose."
