Giants Drop Padres, 3-2
|
The 2050 season is off to a good start for the San Francisco Giants. The hometown Giants knocked off the San Diego Padres, 3-2, at AT&T Park. San Francisco pitcher Bubba Colón paced his team to the win. San Francisco reliever Jimmy Richardson was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Jeff Larkin.
The Giants procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Henry Tarr. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
Colón said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
