The Atlanta Braves beat the Washington Nationals, 16-4, at Turner Field. Atlanta first baseman Sebastián Martínez had an outstanding performance. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 5. Mike West, the winning pitcher, is now 2-0. He went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits, while fanning 4 and walking 0. Vasa Kandic picked up the save for Atlanta, his 1st of the year.
