Potomac Sweeps into the Round 2 Saturday, September 14th , 2052 It was a sweet sweep for the Potomac Nationals as they eased past the Wilmington Blue Rocks to advance to the Round 2. Potomac won the final game by a 4-1 count and the series 3-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Dan Jennings, who was named series MVP. For the series, Jennings hit .286 with a .286 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Potomac Nationals don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans - Winston-Salem Dash series. Myrtle Beach leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
