Saturday, July 27th , 2052
In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of Orlando buzzing, Nashua Silver Knights second baseman Curt Hinkle blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 10-1, over the Tri-City Dust Devils.
"Everything was clicking," Hinkle told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Hinkle shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 3 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Silver Knights manager Robby Hefflinger said. "Curt played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Curt Hinkle walked in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Don Parkinson in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off José Pérez in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Yoon-tae Kim in the 7th.
Looking at his stats this year, Hinkle has compiled a .299 batting average, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 19 runs. He has played in 33 games and scored 23 runs.
