Tampa Bay Trades Carpenter for Arizona's Kennedy Sunday, July 31st , 2050 The Rays and the Diamondbacks finalized a deal this afternoon. Tampa Bay has traded for 24-year old RF Mike Kennedy and in return Arizona will receive 23-year old minor league RHP Leo Holder and 30-year old RHP Jim Carpenter. Carpenter has put up a 3.89 career ERA and fanned 271 hitters in 296.1 innings. His record stands at 15-4 with no saves. In this current campaign Kennedy is hitting at a .305 clip with 15 home runs and 60 RBIs. |
