Williams Clobbers 3 HR Against Twins

Fans are still buzzing after Tampa Bay whipped the Minnesota Twins by the score of 4-3 today at Tropicana Field.
Chris Williams smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the right fielder bashed out 3 hits in 6 at-bats, had 3 RBIs and scored 3 times.
At the postgame press conference, Williams said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Williams said. "Three is just... wow."
Chris Williams flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Geoffrey Pallister in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Lou Jones in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, walked in the 12th, was hit by a pitch in the 13th and hit a solo-shot off Orlando Recino in the 16th.
In the current season, Williams has put up a .243 batting average with 63 hits, 11 home runs, 29 runs batted in and scored 43 runs.
