Jim Hawkins is respected by most Fontana HS Aviators fans for his no-frills style of play. The 15-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Conference 2 Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .552 average (16-for-29) with 7 home runs, 12 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
Thus far this year, Hawkins has hit .404 with 12 home runs and 36 RBIs.
