Cubs Rally to Nose Past New York
Due in large part to designated hitter Sean Toups, the Chicago Cubs sunk the New York Yankees, 7-6. Toups went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The second-place Cubs now have a record of 41-48.

Had Toups not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Toups hit a grand slam home run. The Cubs took the lead, 7-6, and never looked back.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Toups told the Chicago Citizen.
