Season Possibly Over for Mike Caskey

The Brooklyn Cyclones announced this afternoon that first baseman Mike Caskey would be out of action for 9-10 months. He sustained a torn posterior cruciate ligament playing the Crawdads. It happened running the bases.
A look at his current stats shows Caskey with a .294 average, 17 home runs, 67 RBIs and 55 runs scored. He has played in 122 games.

Ironbirds Lose Fuentes for Season

Ironbirds reliever Alex Fuentes was hurt throwing a pitch during today's Braves game and suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. He will be laid up about 11 months.
During this season he has made 10 relief appearances, earning a 1-0 record with 2 saves. In 10.1 innings Fuentes has struck out 8 with a 0.00 ERA.
