Brewers C Koss 3-for-4 in Win
The 8-7 Milwaukee win over Philadelphia was due in large part to Branden Koss. The Brewers catcher went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Sean Puett earned the win to go to 4-5. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, with no walks and 12 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work. By defeating Philadelphia, the last-place Brewers improved to 30-35.

Early in the game, Koss had a grand slam home run for Milwaukee. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Brewers on top, 5-1.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Koss.
