|
The Cincinnati Reds spoiled a good performance by Houston third baseman T.J. O'Hara, bumping off Houston, 7-6, at Great American Ball Park. O'Hara was 3-4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Jon Whitehead locked down his 16th save. Cincinnati is now 43-35, while Houston is 35-41.
Mike McEntee, who is tied for 7th in the NL in RBI with 18, contributed to the Cincinnati win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the catcher had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
