It's Over: Trojans Stop Gutiérrez Saturday, June 25th , 2078 The Trojans stopped Nelson Gutiérrez's 28-game hitting streak today at Shootout Stadium, but they couldn't stop the Mississippi Thunder, falling by the score of 1-0. Gutiérrez didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-4. "It's just as well," Thunder manager said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him."
