Angels Walk It Off for 50th Win of Season
The Los Angeles Angels, despite a fine performance by Texas pitcher Tyler Mahle, grabbed a 2-1 win at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Mahle allowed 1 run over 5.1 innings. The winner in relief was Sam Bachman. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. He now owns a record of 4-4. Texas's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Los Angeles. That's when Max Muncy hit a solo home run off 31-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Sborz to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Muncy said.
