Barrero Lifts Rangers to 6-3 Win
The Texas Rangers took on the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park.

The Texas Rangers polished off the Seattle Mariners by the score of 6-3. The largest share of the credit belonged to second baseman Jose Barrero. Barrero slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Rangers. Nathan Eovaldi picked up the win, improving his season record to 9-11. He struck out 8 in 6.2 innings.

Texas took a 6-3 lead on Barrero's 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off George Kirby in the top of the sixth, propelled Texas to the win.

"We did the things that it takes to win a game," said Barrero.
