Medina Bashes 5 Base Hits

No matter what the New York N (GCL) Mets threw at him, Juan Medina hit it. He easily handled Mets pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Tigers East triumph, 7-6, at Joker Marchant Stadium.
"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.
Told of Medina's quip, Mets skipper said he "would take him up on that next time."
