Welcome to Major League Baseball Dreams
MLBD is a league that is all about having fun and enjoying the great game of baseball, at least virtually. We run '7 Day Sims' during the season on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, and during the off season we try to run a sim every day. The league has a great core group of experienced GMs, mixed with some new blood. We primarily use Slack to communicate, and regular season sims are run live using StatsPlus. Our league stats and draft are run on StatsPlus as well.
The league started in 2006, both real time and game time, as a modern day historical league with current MLB rosters. However, 60+ seasons later, it is now a fictional player league with MLB organization and rules.
We update OOTP on every even version. Currently, we are running OOTP20.
Congratulations to Will and the Cincinnati Reds
The first championship for Will comes after several seasons being the bridesmaid in the NL. Consistently one of the best teams in the league over the past several seasons, the Reds were finally able to come through the Wild Card to avenge their previous sweep at the hands of the Boston Red Sox with a sweep of their own.
