Mariners Lose to Astros, 7-3
|
Houston second baseman Aaron White made his presence felt in the 7-3 Astros triumph over the Seattle Mariners. White was 2-4 with a home run. J.B. Bukauskas earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 2-0. Houston has an impressive 24-10 record.
In the bottom of the third, Houston shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Tatis Jr. stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 3-2, Houston. For the game, he went 1-4.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Tatis Jr. told the Houston Times.
