Copeland Wins NL Player of the Week Trophy

Gary Copeland is respected by most St. Louis Cardinals fans for his no-frills style of play. The 32-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the National League Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .375 average (9-for-24) with 5 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
