West Virginia beat Norwich on the strength of starter Clarence Gallagher's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-1. Wyatt Olds, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. West Virginia has now won 3 in a row.

Gallagher imposed his will on the Sea Unicorns, scattering 1 hit over 7 innings while striking out 8. The right-hander upped his season record to 4-3.
