Sounds Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 3-0
The Nashville Sounds are one game away from a sweep of the El Paso Chihuahuas today after a road win at Southwest University Park, 6-1. Sounds right-hander Tanner Pribble had a strong outing. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Nashville now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Championship.

Nashville used a well-timed hit by Hunter Goodman to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Sounds ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"We don't have much margin for error now," Chihuahuas manager Danny Dorn said. "We need to figure out the problem and fix it, immediately."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Southwest University Park in El Paso.
