Rock Cats Trip Flying Squirrels, 5-4, in Extra Innings
The inspired effort of Richmond first baseman Lucas Miller was not enough to prevent a loss, 5-4, to the New Britain Rock Cats. Miller was 4 for 7 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. New Britain is now 16-9.

The Rock Cats procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Carter Daniels. In the bottom of the 16th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Daniels told the New Britain News.
