The Cincinnati Reds got a superb performance from left fielder Rafael Castillo. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Houston. The Astros won the game, 5-4. Castillo went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner was J.B. Bukauskas in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Scott Ronnenbergh took the loss. Raisel Iglesias earned the save for Houston, his 1st of the year.

George Cuyco helped out the Houston cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the right fielder drove in 2 runs.

"This was a good win," said Cuyco.

The third-place Astros have won 5 straight.
