Astros Walk It Off for 46th Win of Season
|
The Houston Astros took New York pitcher Casey Kelly's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Minute Maid Park. The final score had Houston getting past the Mets, 4-3. Kelly went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 5. The win belongs to Raisel Iglesias in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Greg Allison took the loss for New York. With the win, Houston raised its record to 46-29.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Houston second baseman Alex Bregman, facing Greg Allison, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Astros the 4-3 win.
"It was a good effort all around," said Bregman.
