Grier K's 11 En Route to 9-1 Rays Win
The Tampa Bay Rays picked up a win at Rogers Centre, knocking off the Toronto Blue Jays, 9-1. On the mound for Tampa Bay was right-hander Dane Grier, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win gives Tampa Bay a season record of 60-43.

Grier, a native of Los Angeles, California, was dealing all game. He kept Toronto hitters off-balance, while giving the Rays 7 quality innings. Grier threw 93 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 11.
