A 8-RBI performance from the 26-year old third baseman Cameron Gundy helped the Philadelphia Phillies beat the New York Yankees, 12-1. With the win, Philadelphia upped its record to 65-42.

With Philadelphia leading 2-0 in the bottom of the first, Gundy hit a fastball from Tim Harris for a 3-run home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Phillies ahead, 5-0.

Gundy told a Philadelphia Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
