Matt Wieters chipped in for Kansas City, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning. For the game, the catcher went 1-3, while adding 2 RBI.
Wieters told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
