Copeland has 6 RBI as Mariners Squeeze Past Cincinnati
|
Gary Copeland was a major factor in the 9-8 Seattle win over Cincinnati. The Mariners first baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Seattle.
Ed Harris hit a 2-run triple off Max Meyer in the top of the eighth, which put the Mariners in front, 9-8. In addition to the triple, Harris had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"We've got a great group of guys," Harris said, "and we're having fun right now."
