Jordan Wicks never let the Rumble Ponies get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Flying Squirrels to a win, 4-0. Wicks, now 3-2, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing no runs. With the win, Richmond pushed its record to 25-22.

The Flying Squirrels picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Wicks.
