The Cincinnati Reds grabbed a win, 9-5, over the Minnesota Twins at Great American Ball Park. Cincinnati right fielder Rafael Castillo went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The second-place Reds have won 5 in a row.

Cincinnati took a 9-5 lead on Castillo's 38th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Julián Rivera in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Cincinnati to the win.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Cincinnati manager Jeff Isom.
