Rangers Deal Angels 2-1 Loss
Los Angeles got a terrific performance from pitcher Paul Erickson, but it wasn't enough to beat the Texas Rangers. Texas won the Angel Stadium of Anaheim contest, 2-1. Erickson threw 7.1 innings of 1-hit ball for the losing team. Austin Leonard finished to wrap up his 4th save. The win makes Texas 68-88.

Erickson pitched a very strong game for the Angels, allowing 1 hit in 7.1 innings while striking out 10. It was all for naught, however.
