Trenton and Binghamton duked it out and the Thunder came out victorious.

The Trenton Thunder knocked off the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 6-4, at Mercer County Waterfront Park. Raúl Solís was a big reason Trenton won. The designated hitter went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2. Lawrence Cameron locked down his 8th save.

Solís had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Thunder went on to win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Solís. "And not try to do too much."

The win has Trenton at 18-33.
