Slade Cecconi never let the Rainiers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Aces to a win, 4-1. The loss has the Rainiers at 2-2.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Kyler Murray? The Reno center fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Aces on top, 4-0. For the game, Murray had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
