Flowe Goes Deep Twice in 6-2 Wind Surge Win
A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old first baseman Justin Flowe helped the Wichita Wind Surge beat the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 6-2. Wichita pitcher Kevin Gowdy got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Cole Sands got the loss. Jake Wiggins recorded the save, his 1st.

Endy Rodriguez, the 23-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rodriguez contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Wichita up, 3-1.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Wichita manager Alex Cora.

Colorado Springs falls to 4-6.
