Good production from second baseman Ryan Bliss helped the El Paso Chihuahuas topple the Reno Aces, 3-2. Bliss was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk for the Chihuahuas. El Paso reliever Stanley Baxter picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Justin Worrell shouldered the loss. With the win, El Paso boosts its record to 10-5.
The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Bliss delivered big-time for El Paso, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Justin Worrell. The game-changing hit put the Chihuahuas on top, 3-2.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Bliss told the El Paso Daily.
