The Tacoma Rainiers beat the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 10-8, at Security Service Field. Tacoma shortstop Shane Buchele had an outstanding performance. He went 1 for 2 with 3 walks, while scoring 2. The winner was Tacoma reliever Myles Brennan, now 3-0. The loser was Zach Palmieri. Christian Roa collected his 9th save.

The result might have been different, had it not been for Jake Edmonds, the Tacoma center fielder. Edmonds had a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rainiers ahead, 9-8. For the game, Edmonds had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Good win for our guys," said Buchele.
