Bees Lose to Wind Surge in Walk Off
|
Wichita picked up a win at Wichita Ballpark, bumping off the Salt Lake Bees, 2-1. Pitcher Jacob Cohn was a major reason the Wind Surge emerged victorious. Wichita pitcher Adam HIll got the win. He's now 3-1. Andrew Larson was tagged with the loss. Wichita raised its record to 58-56 with the win.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Wichita designated hitter Cole Snyder, facing Dane Ferguson, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Wind Surge the 2-1 win.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Snyder told the Wichita Daily News.
